Brenda Knox of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on January 26, 2026, at the age of 62. She was born on January 5, 1964, to her parents Darrell and Virginia Knox.

She is survived by her loving spouse, Eddie Cane, whom she married in the year 9. Together, they raised four children: Sherry Smith (spouse Maurice Smith), Hakeem Knox (spouse None), Tina Harries (spouse Donny Harries), and Jess Knox (spouse None). Brenda was also the proud grandmother of three grandchildren.

Brenda attended Lincoln West High School, graduating in 1982. She continued her studies at None and went on to work at the Board of Education until her retirement in 2009. Brenda also proudly served in the Army.

Brenda was known for her love of playing bingo and always brought joy and laughter wherever she went. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
