Brenda was loved by many. She had a spunky personality and a 'tell it like it is' way about her but she truly had a heart of gold. One of her favorite lines was, "i didnt do it!" She was quite the character and she loved to laugh. We will miss that smile for sure.
She fought long and hard and hung on alot longer than the dr's ever expected her to. She was indeed a fighter, but she grew tired and was ready to meet Jesus and she also wanted to see her Daddy and her Mama. She made sure she let each of us know what we meant to her before she passed from this world. She left quite a legacy and her spirit and her memory will live on in our hearts and our minds for as long as we live.
We can take comfort in the fact that she is in no more pain and altho we miss her so, we have that blessed assurance that we will see her again someday.
There will be no funeral services for Brenda. Per her request, she did not want a funeral and she made it known. We all know that what she said is what she meant and we honor that even in her death. She wanted us to love her while she was here and we did just that.
There will be a small memorial to honor her memory in San Angelo, Tx. at her sister's house On Thanksgiving Day and that Eulogy will be given by her son in law that she loved dearly, Mr. Johnny Roberson. A balloon release will follow.
Our family would like to thank the nurses that sat with her day and night and also comforted us throughout this process.
We would also like to thank everyone that prayed for her and for us and that continues to support and lift us up as we grieve the loss of our Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt & Friend.
In lieu of flowers, we'd request that you make a donation to the American Cancer Society in honor of our 'Brenda Gale' or as our Daddy called her, 'Bingo'.
Fly high, Brenda. This is not goodbye, only 'see ya after while'. We love you and look forward to the day that we see you again.
As your sister, this is one of the hardest things I've ever written, but i will honor you in all the ways that i can and I will always thank God for my sister that our Daddy named me after. What a blessing and a gift that is to me.
We love you always and forever.
