Brian Charles White was born November 17, 1959 in Chicago, IL to Margaret (Sampson) and Arthur White. Brian was known by many names: Butchie, Papa, Deacon/Brother White, Big Brian, Apple Dumpling. Brian was the fourth child of five siblings. Brian was raised Catholic and graduated from Mt. Carmel High School in Chicago, IL. Brian received his Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Organizational Leadership from Trinity International College while raising his family and employed full time.
While employed with Anheuser- Busch Brian met the love of his life, Renee (Sharon). They married on November 13, 1982 in Chicago, IL. Through this union they had Brian Cornelius (Michaela) and Sha'ron Zelena-Patrice. They were blessed with 5 grandchildren; Leah, Jordan, Journee, Jorja and Demi.
From the time Brian worked under his father's company at Anheuser-Busch (the first Black owned distributorship in Chicago, IL) until the present he enjoyed the daily interactions he had with people as a Sales and Merchandising Rep for various companies. Brian had a compassionate and loving spirit for others.
Dad never met a stranger. We can't even LIST all the people he loved and cared for. To name a few; Oakdale Covenant Church, Bethel Bible Fellowship, and Missionary service in South Africa. Our father embodied the scripture James 1:27.
My husband, Brian Charles White (Apple Dumpling) was a loving husband, wonderful father and a doting grandfather. Papa also leaves to honor his memory; aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and siblings.
You can to the family or in memory of Brian White.

Brother Brian was like a brother to us even though we have known him only a short time. He always had a smile on his face, never complained, and was always willing to help. We will miss him dearly but God has one of the best, looking out for his saints, encouraging us to walk the straight and narrow path, which leads to the Almighty Father, where there is no more pain.
We express our condolences to Sister Sharon and the White family. Know that we are here for you, whatever you need.

Words can't describe how I feel. I'm hurt and sad. I truly know without a doubt Buchie is with his heavenly father. Brian was a wonderful husband and father. He was uncle to Terrance his nephew, his brothers son Art. Buchie reached out to Terrance and asked for his forgiveness for not being in his life due to circumstances. Brian did what the Lord told him to do, and he was obedient.
My heart is broken right now but rest assure he is in a better and beautiful place. We better get ourselves right so we can get where he already is. Praise be to God! I thank and praise God for knowing this mighty man of God.
Love Pam 🙏 💕😘

Our hearts are feeling your void (Brian). It’s our sincere condolences and prayers that we offer at this time to our dear sister Sharon and family during this time and always. Well done is what God is saying to our dear brother! Because he was a dutiful servant of God! As I type this, Burn and I talked about the many Couples Bible Studies and trips we attended together, and the Adult Retreats oh the fun we all had together! You will be missed my dear brother, take your rest now in Jesus Christ!! We love you and your family!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾💔💔

Dear brother Brian,
It was such a pleasure knowing you for these past couple of years after you joined Bethel. Thank you for looking out for my son Izzy while he was in college in Houston. There was not a time you went to Houston and did not ask me if my son needed anything and for that I am so grateful. I want to thank you and your wife Sharon for your kindness. Brother Brian even with your illness you showed so much strength, were still deep in your faith, and served in the church. You are such a wonderful example for Christians. Love you and may God’s peace be with you and your family. We will cherish you forever.

Our hearts are overflowing with our sincere deepest sympathy and condolences for the White Family. Over the years of knowing Big Brian, he has been a supportive, loving, and devoted husband, father, grandfather, to name a few of his attributes. We can recall many times when Big Brian came around corner from their home in Riverdale to retrieve their family dog from our front porch after escaping from their yard. Big Brian has gone to Heaven, but his LOVE will live forever in your heart. When you don’t know what to do next…Please Breathe!
Sincerely
The Booker Family

Brian was such a kind and compassionate brother in Christ. He always had a smile on his face and words of encouragement to share with everyone he greeted.
Although our hearts are saddened, we hold firm to the scriptures that assure us when believers transition from our earthly home, we enter into eternal rest with our Heavenly Father.
“Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.”
Psalm 116:15
Our thoughts and prayers are with Sharon and the entire family.
