GLENVILLE Brian E. Krout, 51, died suddenly Saturday September 12, 2014, at the York Hospital. He was the husband of Kimberly A. (Wood) Krout. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 18, 2014, at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock, with Rev. John L. Trout, officiating. Viewings will be held Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday 10 to 11 a.m., both at the Funeral Home. Cremation is to follow the service. The family requests that you dress casual. Mr. Krout was born on January 21, 1963, in York, and is a son of Lorraine T. (Bowman) Krout of Glen Rock and the Late James L. Krout. Brian graduated from Susquehannock High School in 1980 and was a Lineman for Baltimore Gas and Electric Company, Baltimore for 23 years. He is a member of the NRA and the Austin L. Grove American Legion Post 403 Glen Rock. Brian was a passionate deer hunter, and enjoyed camping with the guys and being with his family and friends. Brian genuinely loved life and lived it to the fullest. Besides his wife and his mother he is survived by a son, William J. Krout of York; a daughter, Brittany A. Krout of Harrisburg; a step-daughter, Cheyenne W. Crace of Glenville; three sisters, Pamela E. Leber of Seven Valleys, Sherry L. Black of York New Salem, and Kristi A. Korns of York; and two brothers, Vic A. Krout and James T. "Todd" Krout both of Glen Rock. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews who stole his heart.
