Brian K. Duplanter was born June 25th, 1992 in Des Moines, Iowa to Brian Duplanter Sr., and Christiana Banks.It was here where the seeds of hard work and love of family were sown.Brian attended attended middle school in Des Moines before moving to Chicago, Illinois with his mother and sister. He held numerous jobs and was employed at Fed-Ex at the time of his death. He was truly a one of a kind guy. His love for family was evident in all of his relatives near and far. He had a smile a mile long and a heart as big and warm as the brightest sunset.
Through good times and bad he was always smiling and finding humor. Brian loved spending time with family and friends , singing, dancing, listening to music, and playing video games. He loved spending time with his sister Kelsey and his many best friends. He was a devoted son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. His smile could brighten any room. He respected elders and had faith in god to cover him always.
Brian departed this life on Saturday January 11, 2020. He is now at rest with his father Brian Duplanter Sr., Grandmother Barbra Sue Duplanter, sister Maya Pate, cousin Kayla lee and many other family and friends. Those left to cherish and celebrate his memories are:Mother, Christiana and Stepfather Gary Banks, sister Kelsey Duplanter, Grandmother Paula Duplanter, Grandfather Robert Wagner, Bonus Grandparents Jean and Harvey Butler, and melody and Ricky Windham.

Details: Visitations will be held from 10 am- 12pm. Funeral Service will be held at 12 pm. Burial will follow at Stone Hill Cemetery. Family invites guest back to church for a luncheon after the burial
