FREMONT — Brian "Tex" Phillip Ludwick, age 52, of Fremont, Indiana, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at his home in Fremont, Indiana, after a painful battle with cancer. He was born on June 26, 1965, in Sturgis, Michigan, and attended Bronson High School. Brian enjoyed many things during his lifetime. Some of his interests were following NASCAR, playing cards, bowling, and being with his friends and family. He was a handyman, and could fix just about anything. He also had worked in construction, and landscaping, and currently was working for the Menard's Distribution Center at Holiday City, Ohio. Survivors include his sons, Corey (Brittany) Elliott and Brandon Ludwick, both of Angola, Indiana; his mother, Sandra M. (Prough) Rozell of Fremont, Indiana; two sisters, Kim (Marty) McNeal of Fremont, Indiana, and Maria (Lyle) Tritch of Coldwater, Michigan; three grandchildren, Alice, Laila, and Keagon; a niece, Erin Vierling; and nephews Trevor Vierling and Samuel Beaber. He was preceded in death by his father, Phillip Joseph Ludwick; and his stepfather, Charles Duane Rozell. Following his wishes cremation will take place. A celebration of life will be held in his honor on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the Fremont Moose Lodge, from 2-5 p.m. Memorials are requested in his memory to the Steuben County Cancer Association or to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
