Brian Conley Templeton, age 45, of Citrus Springs, FL passed away on November 16, 2016 while under the care of Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast, Lecanto. Brian was born on July 6, 1971 in Red Oak, IA to Kathleen (Moorehead) Templeton-Dasani and the late Glen Harold Templeton. He served his country as a member of the
United States Navy. In 1981, he and his family made Citrus County their home after moving from Columbia, S.C.Brian was a man of many talents. He wore many hats throughout his professional life including working as a Salesman for AT&T, a Phlebotomist in the healthcare industry, had owned his own computer and web design business and had also worked as a Veterinarian Assistant. Brian enjoyed giving back to his community and volunteered much of his time in the past to the Crystal River Fire Department as a Volunteer Fireman. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing video games, fishing, canoeing and swimming. Brian loved the water, especially the Crystal River area. He loved music, especially Pink Floyd. He also enjoyed karaoke and greatly entertained folks over the years with his identical renditions of Louis Armstrong songs. Brian had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to make others laugh. He had a big heart and loved animals, and had rescued many over the years. Brian will be remembered as a generous and kind person that would do anything to help someone out that was in need.Those left to mourn Brian's passing are his mother, Kathleen Templeton-Dasani of Citrus Springs, FL; five daughters: Kristen Templeton of Fruitland Park, FL, Stephanie Templeton of Ocala, FL, Caitlin Templeton and Meagan Templeton, both of Fruitland Park, FL; River Templeton of Ocala, FL; granddaughter, Lauren of Fruitland Park, FL; brother, Bill Templeton and his wife Laura, Mansfield, TX; nephews and niece, Andrew, Thomas, and Courtney Templeton, all of Mansfield, TX; sister, Lori Templeton of Clearwater, FL; niece and nephew, Rachael Latturi and husband, Tony of St Petersburg and James B. Jones, III of Oklahoma City, OK; several aunts and uncles.A Celebration of Life Memorial Service is planned for Monday, November 28, 2016 at 3:00 PM from the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Reverend Greg Kell of Cornerstone Baptist Church, Inverness officiating. The family will receive friends in visitation beginning at 2:00 PM until the hour of service. Arrangements under the direction of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
