My time knowing Brian was genuine but way too short. I can say that I honestly envied his ability to make others smile, laugh and plant a seed for friendship to grow. Our time together and memories produced will stay with me for all time.

I don't even know what to say about this one. I know that this disease is real but it takes a piece out of me every time I open one of these obituary. Brian, you have been on my heart for month, you just can't out smart addiction. I really liked Brian from the first day I met him. He never could bet me in Dominoes but he always tried. We always had great conversation and I tried to give him all the information he could handle, but there comes a day where life stops playing games and life is owed for our decisions.
I love you Brian, and you know this, see you on the other side. My heart is so heavy.
