Brice Thomas ZellerSeptember 19th, 1954 - March 25th, 2016 Friday, March 25th, 2016 we lost a very special guy. Brice Thomas Zeller passed from a 3 week battle with influenza, bacterial & viral pneumonia. He was the son of Donna E. & Mark D. Zeller, both proceeded him in death along with his Aunt Patty Glover, Uncles: Bill, Maury, Marvin Zeller and Great Nephew Anthony Orr. Adopted sister Gail Kautzman. Brice's family began April 9th, 1983 when he married Becky, his wife his partner, his chosen son and friend Clint McKay, caring daughter n' law Kyla, Amazing Grandkids, Sydney Beck, Waylon, Warren & Stella McKay the joy they brought him and he gave them indescribable. He had bragging rights for them all. So much love and memories. Brice left behind his brother, Mark D. Zeller Aka Magical Markie which is magical in every way. The best brother a person can share life with and help fulfill his brothers' dreams. Kay Roberts, his sister. Numerous nieces and nephews that he showed by his accomplishments what honesty, hard work and setting goals can do for you. He had a circle of friends that he loved hanging out with. His morning Crazy Earls Buds, Biker Buddies (many fun trips they shared), Poker Buddies Jimmy & Vic and his afternoon Buds at the Mineshaft. Oh yeah, and my girls club that he was a big part of. He was born on Sept 19th, 1954 at the old hospital on Avenue B. Attended Crane where he met his very first sweetheart Martha Daily. Graduated Crane in 1970 went to Kofa High graduated 1974. He was a FFA member, Wrestler, Varsity Football and worked during the night to the very early mornings for his father sweeping parking lots before he would head to class. A teacher/Coach he cherished most Coach Roach. Lots of good memories. Brice was always busy, right out of high school he was into Bull Riding, Stock Car Racing, Boxing, Water Skiing and working long hours 7 days a week. Brice every year ran the Demolition Derby at the Fair Grounds, we never knew what stunt he was going to pull until the night before, sometimes even the day of. He loved doing this to us. Brice, had many goals in life. He accomplished every one of them before he left for his ride in the sky. (Ghost Riders). When he was very young his mom would drop him off at 1st Street and 4th Avenue and he would have a bucket and cleaning supplies and walk down the road and clean the restrooms at various stops and gas stations along the way. His mom would pick him up at the end of his route. This was the beginning of the man we are so blessed to have had him in our life. He took over Zeller's Parking Lot Maintenance after his dad passed away in 1986. He took a 7 employee business and developed it into one of the largest Construction Companies in Yuma, Arizona. To help make this happen he bought Schogan Co. from Mike and Joann Hogan. Mike Hogan spent many days by Brice's side, it became known as B.T.Z Inc. dba Zeller's Excavating and Paving. In 2001 he built and opened South Yuma County Land Fill, the following year C&D Disposal with his friends Jorge Holland, Leroy Donley and Willie Hunter friendship and support all the way. A very proud moment of his. 2001 he took over Jacks or Better Pub, turned it into the Mineshaft. The following year he built Crazy Earls in the Foothills. Took over AA Amusement in 2007, he chose Al Chaffee, Skippy Sheffield to keep it up and running. 2008 he decided that Mineshaft needed to be relocated and built the largest bar with a swim up pool bar in Yuma. Truth is, Brice would finish one project and already have another one going. His biggest goals were to open Z Fun Factory and build a water park. This came from years of hard work and dedication. In July of 2012, he opened Waylon's Water World, named after his 1st Grandson, Waylon. A dream he left for us to keep fulfilling. Jimmy Lillie his right hand man. Ciarra, Dedy, Kathy, Cory and the rest of the gang will make this happen. So sad the day I had to give Brice back. March 25th, 11:45 a.m. I just need to remember the days we had and the memories I get to carry with me for my lifetime. The pieces of him he left in everyone he touched from family to friends I will still see in them. This amazing man may be gone but he will never be forgotten. He has left his mark in us all. Celebration of Life will be at our home 15487 S. Avenue A. Somerton Arizona 85350 on April 9th, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. Parking will be in lot across the street. Motorcycles on circular drive in fence. Lunch to be served following the Celebration of Life at the Mineshaft 3905 S. 4th Avenue. During this time Z Fun Factory and Waylon's Water World, The Mineshaft and Crazy Earl's will be closed until 1:00 P.M. in honor of Brice. Please sign the guest book at
