It is with much sadness that we annouce Brittny Leann McRae, aged 38, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 in Columbia, SC. Born and raised in Columbia, SC on February 23, 1986, she was the daughter of Tammy Walker.

Brittny had a passion for making sure everyone in the room was taken care of, she loved animals of all kinds and had to have everything that sparkled with glitter. That immense caring nature that Brittny carried through life is one of the things that brought her to become the mother of 4 beautiful children. If asked, she would tell you that she was a mother of 5, the 5th being her dog Man-Man who she loved very much. Brittny always looked forward to spending time with her friends and family. She loved each one very much. Brittny was so happy about soon becoming a grandmother and now she is able to be a guardian angel to her daughter Niani's daughter in January of 2025.

Surviving are her mother, Tammy Walker; her children, Timothy Trapp-McRae, David Branham, Niani Samuel, and Jayden Jones; siblings, Tiffany Curtain, Ronald Colby Cook and Tyler McRae.

Brittny was predeceased by her Grandmother Bonnie Linda Colvin Walker and Grandfather David Walker; Grandmother Gloria Dawn Greer McRae and Grandfather Buster Brown McRae Sr.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm on August 22, 2024 at Moseleys Funeral Home in West Columbia.
