Bryon L. Kollmann1940 - 2013 Bryon L. Kollmann, 72, of Kenosha passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2013, at Manor Care. Bryon was born on Sept. 6, 1940, in Kenosha. He was the son of the late Lawrence and Alyce (Parsons) Kollmann. He attended local schools and graduated from Kenosha High School in 1958. On June 20, 1964 he married Patricia Kammer at St. Casmir Catholic Church in Kenosha. She preceded him in death on Nov. 7, 2009. Bryon was employed as a superintendent with Chrysler until his retirement in 1989, following his retirement he was also a consultant for Morrison-Knudsen for five years and helped his wife with her small business, Interiors Plus. Bryon had many hobbies: he was an avid storyteller; these stories ranged from his childhood to the war and everything in between. Bryon also treasured reading and playing games of Cribbage with his family. Although most of all he enjoyed boating on Lake Michigan with his wife, children and grandchildren.He was also preceded in death by, his brother, Lowell Kollmann and his sister, Sharon Schwartz.Bryon is survived by, his daughter, Lori (Joe) Mitek of Bristol; two sons, Jim (Jody) Kollmann and Brad (Julie) Kollmann both of Kenosha; four granddaughters, Angela, Samantha, Audra and Rebecca; his sister, Joy (John) Reynolds of El Cajon, Calif., and his brother, Keith Kollmann of Kenosha.Funeral services for Bryon will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at the Hansen-Lendman Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Tuesday at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. Private burial will take place at St. James Cemetery at a later date.
