Caderíana Chynna De León, 18, passed on September 15, 2020. Caderíana, more commonly called Cadence, was born on March 14, 2002. Cadence was upbrought by her grandmother, Lao De León, and recieved her diploma from Jack Britt High School in 2020.
During school, she was an honor roll student, competed in multiple school assemblies, was president of the NBC, and was extremely passionate in her love for reading and writing. She practiced english and romance language literacy for three years in Hope Mills, North Carolina.
Cadence had a strong passion for reading and writing, and she combined her hobbies into great works of art that were not only admired by her friends and close family, but also many of her classmates and teachers. She was also an avid music lover, and collected many beautiful piano pieces. She was well known for her infectious smile, quick thinking, and compassionate spirit.
Cadence was preceded in death by her grandmother, Lao, and her father, Santiago. She is survived by her mother, Maya, her younger brother, Nathaniel, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A private funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 27th, 2020, at the First Presbyterian Church, Albuquerque, New Mexico, at 5 o'clock pm. No flowers or donations are being accepted.
