Caleb Francis, 9, of Huntington, New York, passed on July 09, 2010. Caleb was born on December 03, 1999. Caleb, also known as "Bubba" to his friends and family, passed away this past Friday surrounded by his loving family. Left to mourn Caleb are his parents, Carrie and Jeff Francis, and Seth Sirecki, his three siblings, Kayla, Matthew, and Marissa, his grandparents, Debra, Philip, Sandra, and Michael, and his many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Caleb was a very fun, outgoing, and energetic boy who enjoyed boy scouts, going to the beach, playing with friends, and most importantly, baseball. His best friend was his little sister, who he often teased, playfully. Caleb was very well loved throughout the community and was a very friendly child, always giving to others.

Caleb had fought a long battle with a rare form of childhood cancer, Neuroblastoma, starting at the age of 5 and undergoing many forms of treatmant. Relapsing 3 times and being forced to fight for his life, young Caleb finally decided to end his battle. Words cannot describe how much he will be missed.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 14th, at St. John's Episcopal Church in Huntington, New York.
