He was born on September 19, 1991 in Portsmouth, Ohio to John and Angela (Veach) Southworth.Caleb grew up in Piketon and graduated from Piketon High School in 2010. After graduation, he attended Central Michigan University and was a tight end for the Central Michigan Chippewa's football team.Caleb was preceded in death by paternal grandmother Pamela Bryant Southworth.Caleb is survived by his best friend, Marissa Hill of Waverly, Ohio; son Dex Payne Southworth of Waverly, Ohio; his parents John William Southworth and Angela (Veach) Southworth (Tyler Uhrig fiancé) of Piketon; sister Alexandria Leigh Southworth (fiancé Chase Brogna) of Houston, Texas; brother and best friend Aaron William Southworth of Piketon, Ohio; paternal grandparents Richard 'Pap' and Kathy Southworth of Piketon, Ohio, maternal grandfather Rex (Janet) Veach of Hebron, Indiana; maternal grandmother Sandy (Joe) Poole of Portsmouth, Ohio; maternal great-grandmothers Opal Veach of Stockdale, Ohio and Verna (Ed) Patterson of Beaver, Ohio; special uncle Jason Veach of Lucasville, Ohio; special uncle Cody Mougey of Portsmouth, Ohio; special cousin Tyler Southworth of Piketon and Dawson Veach of South Webster, Ohio and aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and many friends. Caleb was a free spirited young man and will be greatly missed by all his loved ones and friends.Private Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at the HOWE WHEELER BOYER HORNBACK Funeral Home in Piketon with Bro.
