Calista Jamesion, 68, of Bakersfield, California, passed on September 11, 2023. Calista was born on April 18, 1955, in Los Angeles CA, at General Hospital. Her parents were Mildred Parker and Beeneylee Hardrige. Calista was the firstborn of five children, and accepted Christ at a young age at Baptist Church in Los Angeles, She attended Ninety-Second Street Elementary School, Foshay Junior High School, and Crenshaw High School. Calista had four children and relocated back to Bakersfield Ca, over the years she worked in many professions such as a CNA in Huntington Park CA, A Daycare Supervisor in Las Vegas Nevada, and last but not least became a foster care parent something she always loved doing helping and taking care of others. Calista was known for her dance moves and her taste in music, especially jazz and oldies. Calista was preceded in death by her mother and father, her sisters Debrah Adams and Sheila Adams, and her brother Michael Adams. She leaves behind her children Ineka Reed, Deevion Jamesion, Aleshaonne Jamesion, Myliah Jamesion as well as her sisters Jackie Adams, Carolyn Jameison, Maryland Jamesion, Lauren Jamesion, Antonetta Green, Gloria Williams, Janis Crespo, Lavern Fisher, and Judy Spaulding. Calista also leaves behind her four grandchildren Skakira Kimber, Ikenia Spears, Ambria Spears, and Ramondo Spears followed by five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews and family and friends. She also had two special god nieces Sheneika and Sarah and three godchildren Devon, Auriah, and Ka'maree, and her best friend Joann. This Beautiful soul will be deeply missed and always remembered in our hearts.
