Camellea Wood-Jones, of Rolla, left this earthly life to make her home in heaven on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at the age of 65.She was born on March 4, 1951 in Waynesville, MO to Kenneth Wood and Lois (Lenox) Wood. Camellea attended high school in St. James, MO, graduating in 1969. After high school she attended nursing school in St. Louis, MO. She went on to further her education by becoming a Radiologic Technologist.On June 4, 1977 (May 35th) she married Richard "Dick" Jones. In 1981, they adopted Lenox Wood Jones. Camellea also has a step daughter Shelley (Jones) Martin.Camellea was a home maker and a stay at home mom for the first five years of their marriage. That is still one of the proudest accomplishments in her life of being able to stay home with Lenox until he started school.After that, she opened with her husband, Dick, Wood-Jones and Associates accounting firm. While still holding that job and helping with income tax returns; she branched out to Waynesville, where she owned Pioneer Lending that brokered loans to active duty military from 1986-2009. She was very active on Fort Leonard Wood, where she helped serve the active duty and retired military personal, helping soldiers became her life. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Jesse Wood and one brother, Kenneth Wayne Wood.Camellea will be sadly missed by her surviving family which includes: her husband Richard "Dick" Jones of Rolla; one son, Lenox Jones and fiancée LeighAnne DeParle of Rolla; one daughter, Shelley Martin and husband Michael of Irving, TX; her mother, Lois Walls of Rolla; and five lovely grandchildren, McKenzie, Gage, Ryker, Maddix and Aniston.A funeral service for Camellea Wood-Jones will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday, November 11, 2016 at the First Assembly of God, 1608 N. Oak in Rolla. Interment will follow in the Adams Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, November 10 at the church.
