Hall, Carl Eugene Carl Eugene Hall has gone to heaven to be with the Lord and many of his friends and relatives. He passed away on May 5, 2017 at the Sherman Hospice House in Scottsdale, Arizona. Carl was born on March 12, 1926 at the hall farm house near South Boardman, Michigan. He served in the army in the Pacific during WWII on the Islands of Saipan and Tinian. He also served during the occupation of Japan after the War. He received many medals and awards for his service. After the War, Carl received his Bachelor and Master of Science Degrees from Michigan State University. He taught vocational agriculture and FFA at Hartland Michigan for ten years where he produced many State and National Farmers. He then moved to Williamston, Michigan where he ran the agriculture teacher training center for Michigan State University for two years. In 1963, he moved to Arizona where he taught 7th grade Math at Greenway Middle School in the Paradise Valley School District for the next 23.5 years before retiring. He married Betty Jane Olmstead on July 24, 1948 and was married 49 years until her death in 1997. He then married Betty Smith on October 10, 2002. Carl enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, family vacations and family gatherings. Carl is survived by his wife Betty, sons Michael and wife Chrystle, Martin and his wife Kathy, step-sons Dennis, Freddy and Steven Roberson, grand children: Jeremy and his wife Denise, Jason, and Jacob his wife Shauna and great grandchildren: Aryka, Aaron, Jeniyah, Jason Jr., Macarthur, and Bradley. He will be greatly missed and always loved by family and those who knew him. A memorial service will be held at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
