Gaertig, CarlCarl O. "Krazee Carl" Gaertig passed away peacefully at his home on June 16, 2017, surrounded by loved ones, following a brief illness. He was born on November 16, 1951 in Oconto Falls to Otto and Gladys (Moede) Gaertig. Carl met the love of his life, June Pearcey, in 1984. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, pool, puzzles, farming and John Deer tractor collecting, and goofing off and BS-ing. Carl had his sense of humor right to the end.He is survived by his children, Shannon and Lee, Shane and Justina; step children, Angela and Jeff, Paula and Luke, Daryl and Raeann, Tina and Brian; 19 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Edi (George) Callahan, Ruby (Jim) Radtke, Pearl (Al) Czechan, Crystal (Nick) Cortese; and brother, Glen (Julie) Gaertig.He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Dawn Renee; Stepson Jack Pearcey; special canine friend, Bullett; and felines, Brrmeow and Squeak.Memorial service to follow at a later date.
