Carl A. Nichols1965 - 2014Carl A. Nichols, 48, of Kenosha passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2014, at his residence. Carl was born on Nov. 30, 1965, in Kenosha to Bruce and Sandra (Reaume) Nichols and he attended Zion-Benton High School and later received his GED from College of Lake County. Carl worked for Iris USA for five years. He was engaged to the love of his life Lori Haight. He was a jack of all trades who loved doing projects for his family and friends and if he didnt know how to do something he would figure it out. He loved motor sports, especially drag racing and working on his motorcycle. Carl enjoyed camping with Lori, spending time with his family and friends and he will always be known for his infectious smile with happiness and joy.He was preceded in death by, his maternal grandmother, Edith Harding. Carl is survived by, his mother, Sandra Nichols of Beach Park, Ill.; his sister, Dawn Kent of Spooner; his fiance;, Lori Haight and her daughters, Shana Ryan and Kristi Lopez; four sons, Jonathan Piane, Karl Nichols, Carl Nichols Jr. and Brandon Batersby; as well as nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.A time for remembrance of Carl will be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 12, 2014, at the Hansen-Lendman Funeral Home.
