Carl RhymerCarl W. "Bud" Rhymer, 76, of Troy, Ill., born on June 18, 1940 in East St. Louis, Ill., died on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2016 at his residence.Carl was a certified welder and worked at Ameren, formerly Union Electric, for 32 years. He was a member of Operation Engineers Local No. 138, and was active in the Union Electric Union Retirees Club.He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl C. and Maxine, nee Gibbs, Rhymer.Surviving are his wife, Donna, nee Gardner, Rhymer; children, Lori Bohnenstiehl of Edwardsville, Ill., Lynn (Tom) Sedlacek of Glen Carbon, Ill., and Dale (Mary) Rhymer of Troy, Ill.; grandchildren, Daren (Sarah) Bohnenstiehl, Josh (Susan) Bohnenstiehl, Dana Sedlacek (Brian Werner), David (Chelsie) Sedlacek, Kara Rhymer (Kyle Sullivan), Dustin Rhymer (Janessa Clary) and Sara Rhymer; great-grandchildren, Reid, Ellie, Avery, Emma, Ephram, Dane and Caden; his sister, Carole Martz of Troy, Ill.; brother-in-law, Dayton Gardner of Mascoutah, Ill.; and an uncle, Jerry Gibbs of Fairview Heights, Ill.
