Carlton Holmes, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on August 14, 2024, in Richmond, Virginia, United States.

Carlton was born on December 28, 1943, to Casey Holmes and Emma Tiny in Richmond, Virginia. He attended Central High School, graduating in 1961. After high school, Carlton went on to work at Philip Morris, where he dedicated many years of service before retiring in 2008.

Carlton was a loving father to his three children: Darick Eli (spouse Kathy Eli), Adrienne Eli, and Tangela Eli. He was also a devoted grandfather to his 8 grandchildren.

Outside of his professional life, Carlton had a passion for fishing. He enjoyed spending time in the great outdoors, casting a line and enjoying the peaceful solitude of nature.

Carlton will be deeply missed by his family and friends, who remember him as a kind and caring individual with a great sense of humor. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
