We are saddened to announce the passing of Carlton Burns, who left this world on June 10, 2024, at the age of 88 in Pineview, Georgia. Born on January 29, 1936, Carlton was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many.

Carlton, known to his friends as "Carl," served in the Army and was a dedicated employee at the local hardware store for over 40 years. He was known for his quick wit, infectious laughter, and love for fishing.

Carlton is survived by his partner, Susie Burns, his children Carl Jr, Dean, Valerie, Lance, and Dorothy, as well as his seven grandchildren. He was a devoted son to Eddie Burns and Willie Mae Coley.

Although we mourn his loss, let us remember Carlton for the joy and laughter he brought to our lives. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Rest in peace, Carlton Burns. You will always hold a special place in our hearts.
