Carmen Gomez, aged 73, born on January 1, 1950, bid her final farewell on November 28, 2023, in her beloved home in Campo Rico, Canóvanas, Puerto Rico. She courageously fought against the mighty COVID-19 that unfortunately took her away from us. Yet, let us celebrate the remarkable life she lived instead of mourning the loss.

Carmen was a devoted mother who raised five incredible children: Carmen Lerma, Angel Borges, Mario Borges, David Borges, and Yvette Mercardo. Although we may not include their names here, we know they were her pride and joy, a true reflection of the love she bestowed upon them.

Not only was Carmen a remarkable mother, but she also had the honor of being a doting grandmother to nine beautiful grandchildren. Each of them held a special place in her heart, and she cherished every precious moment spent with them.
