We are gathered here today to bid farewell to Carmen Medina Ortiz, who passed away on August 7, 2024, at the age of 74 in Bayamon Gardens, Bayamón, Puerto Rico. She was born on August 20, 1949.

Carmen was known for her vibrant personality and infectious laughter. She had a knack for making everyone around her smile, whether it was through her jokes or her love for singing.

After a long and fulfilling career at Sheranton, Carmen retired in 2008 to focus on her hobbies, which included spending time with her beloved family, singing her heart out, and making the best arroz con gandules in all of Puerto Rico.

She is survived by her four children: Raymond, David, Miguel, and Anthony, along with their spouses. Carmen also leaves behind seven grandchildren who will always treasure the memories they shared with their fun-loving abuela.

Though Carmen may no longer be with us, her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Rest in peace, Carmen, and may your heavenly choir be as joyous as your earthly one.
