We are saddened to announce the passing of Carmen Jeangilles, who left this world on October 23, 2024, in Harriman, New York. Carmen was born on March 12, 1975, to her loving parents, Deacon Charles LeFurgy Jr and Corrine LeFurgy.

Carmen was married to her beloved spouse, Sergo Jeangilles, in the year 2007. Together they had two children, Sergio Jeangilles Jr and Abigail Jeangilles. Carmen adored her family and loved spending time with them.

She had a passion for animals especially for her cat mittens. Carmen was a loving and sweet person who made many friends over her short time here on this Earth. Carmen was also a huge fan of the peanuts characters, often quoting them with a smile on her face. She enjoyed challenging herself with crossword puzzles and always had a positive attitude towards life. Her favorite color was purple. She had a love and passion for butterflies and the simple beautiful things in life that make it beyond worth living. Her favorite place to visit with her loving family was the beach, memories that will forever be cherished by the one's she left behind and an Earthly reminder of who Carmen was.

Unfortunately, Carmen lost her six and a half year battle with cancer, but she fought hard until the very end. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Rest in peace, Carmen.

Carmen was predeceased by her father Deacon Charles S. LeFurgy Jr. and is survived by her mother Corrine LeFurgy, and mother in-law Marie Claude Joseph, her loving husband of 17 years Sergo Jeangilles, son Sergio Jeangilles Jr, daughter Abigail Jeangilles, her brother Daniel Ray, sister Arlene Mann and husband Melvin (Tyler) Mann, sister June LeFurgy and significant other Sean McMahon and their fur babies who Carmen loved dearly, her niece Alexis Jennings and husband Leonard, their three daughters Rosalie, Leona, and Malia, her nephew Jayden Mann, and nieces Jordan, Ariana, and Harley Mann. She is also survived by many friends and extended family who will miss her dearly.
