Carmen Lydia Algarin-Sears 59 of Atlantic City departed this world on Sunday August 4th. Connie as she was affectionately known was born to the Late Justino Algarin Sr. and Esther Rodriguez-Algarin on March 22nd, 1960 in Atlantic City, NJ where she was born and raised. She attended the Atlantic City School district and had a passion for upholstery. Carmen loved family gatherings and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great granddaughter. Connie fulfilled her dreams of upholstery and also becoming a Food and Beverage Manager. No matter who she came in contact with she always had that contagious smile. Connie was predeceased by her Spouse Kyle Sears, parents Justino and Esther Algarin, three brothers Justino Jr., Luis and Charles Algarin and two granddaughters Damianah and Chrisauna. She leaves to cherish her memories one son Donnell Nicholas and three daughters, Marisa Oyola (William), Clarissa Hicks (Kevin) and Migdalia Leon (Dameon) all of Atlantic City. Eight stepchildren, Sonya, Kyledia, Dana, Kyle Jr., Kevin, Kamall, Danille and Keisha. Ten grandchildren, Nataja , Natasha, Christopher, Chrishawna, Chrisean, Khamayah, Damayah, Damani, Dalianah, Dameon Jr. and one great granddaughter A’Lani all of Atlantic City. She also leaves two sisters Severa Vazquez (Carlos) of Atlantic City and Maria Algarin (Hector) of Mays Landing and one brother Roberto Algarin of Mays Landing, her partner Wilbert (Kalif) Toombs and her best friend Denise (Niecy) Williams. A Viewing will be held on Monday, August 12, 2019 from 9am to 10am at The All Wars Memorial Building, 1510 Adriatic Avenue, Atlantic City, NJ 08401 with a service at 10am.
