Carol Entrekin, 59, of Newnan died Wednesday, August 7, 2013, at her residence.

Carol was born on September 14, 1953, in LaGrange, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny Udell Gay and Lucillie Colquitt Gay, brother Steven Udell Gay.

She is survived by her two loving sons: Wes Entrekin of Newnan and Jarred Entrekin of Tucker.

Carol was a 1971 graduate of LaGrange High School and a 1973 graduate of LaGrange College. She was a retired educator having previously taught in Troup, Clayton and Coweta counties.

A graveside service will be held at Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange on Thursday, August 15th, 2013, at 11:00 AM. Carol's uncle, Rev. Billy Colquitt, Sr. will officiate.

Carol was a member of the Royal Baptist Church in Newnan, Georgia. Carol loved the Lord and thoroughly enjoyed attending her ladies Sunday School Class.
