Carol HardenbrookJanuary 23, 1941 - August 7, 2014Carolyn L. Hardenbrook, age 73, of Pocatello passed away of natural causes on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on January 23, 1941 in Pocatello, Idaho to Myron and Vetra (Davis) Smith. She married Jim Hardenbrook and then later they divorced. Together they had four children, Jim, Julie, Wayne and Wendy. Carol loved and enjoyed her family immensely. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Wayne and Bob. She is survived by two sisters, Jo Marshall and Jerry (Jim) Hill; brother-in-law Bill (Marilyn) Hardenbrook; and two sisters-in-law, Debbie Smith and Kay Smith; children and their spouses; as well as three grandchildren, and three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Honoring Carol's wishes, she was cremated under the care and direction of Downard Funeral Home, 241 North Garfield Ave., Pocatello, Idaho. As per her request there will only be a private family celebration of her life.
