Private family services and interment for Carol Marie Damson, 76, of Buffalo, WY who passed away quietly Oct. 15, 2016 at her home in Buffalo will be held by her family.Carol Marie Damson was born on August 15, 1940 in Farmington, Maine to Wallace and Rachel Amburg. She moved to Holland in the 4th grade where she grew up and went to school, graduating from Holland High in 1958. She married Terry Greenwood in 1959 and lived in Holland. She and Terry divorced in 1970 and Carol continued living in Holland. From 1966 until 1994 Carol worked at Donnelly Mirrors, Simicon, DePree, Haworth, First Michigan Bank, ODL and Old Kent Bank. In 1994, Carol married Bob Damson, a classmate from fourth grade through high school. Bob and Carol moved West to Sheridan, Wyoming where she was a part-time secretary/Medical Transcriptionist in the Pathology Lab of Sheridan Hospital. Then later moved to Lakeside, MT and then Carlisle, WY. She and Bob returned to the Big Horn Mountains of Buffalo in September of 2014 where they lived until her death.Carol was active in theatre and initiated Window On the Waterfront with the City of Holland, MI.She is survived by her husband, Bob Damson of Buffalo; one daughter, Laura (George) Schout of Allegan; two sons, David (Karin) Greenwood of Holland, and Jeff (Lisa) Greenwood of Douglas; three step-sons, Mike (Melanie) Damson of Bothell, WA, Scott (Karen) Damson of LaGrange, GA and Jeff (Julie) Damson Sheridan, WY; one step-daughter, Janet (Todd) Renken of Tacoma, WA; five grandchildren; and one great grandson.
