Griffin, Carol S.COLUMBUS--Carol S. Griffin age 69, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at her home. She was born on September 2, 1947 in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. Carol was a 1965 graduate of LaFollette High School in Madison. She was employed at Boumatic in Madison. Carol enjoyed visiting with her neighbors and was a Packer fan. Survivors include her mother, Julia Learn of Panama City FL; four children, James Boyd of Pardeeville, Crystal (Eugene) Bobholz of Columbus, Jon Varese of Stevens Point and Chantil (Jaime Ames) Varese of Wausau; twelve grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one sister, Julie Manz of Madison; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Martin R. Griffin Sr.; two brothers Hubert Griffin and Martin Griffin Jr. and granddaughter, Alexis Varese. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 A.M., with visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at the COLUMBUS ASSEMBLY OF GOD 342 N. Lewis St. in Columbus.
