Carole Robles, 71, of Reno, Nevada, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018. Carole was born to Gabriel and Mary Schockett on September 21, 1946, in Los Angeles, California. She married Tony Robles in 1962 and resided in Southern California until the summer of 2000 when she and Tony relocated to Reno.
Carole and Tony were inseparable and joined each other in Heaven only 8 months apart. This was the longest time they had spent away from each other in their 55 years of marriage. Carole was an active wife and mother, always helping to support her son's little league teams while Tony served as coach. She was a proud band mom and also loved watching her boys participate in their bowling league. Carole loved and adored all her grandchildren. She had a giving nature, wanting to help those in need, and often opened her home, heart, and pantry to help those she loved.
Carole is survived by 2 children; Paul (Lori), and Michael (Laura). She also is survived by 7 grandchildren; Gabriella, Danielle, Alessandra, Philip, Evan, Madison and Mason; 1 great-grandson, and another great-grandchild on the way.
Carole was a loving wife, mom, aunt, cousin, friend and mentor to many. She will be cherished and dearly missed.

Nene made the best spaghetti sauce. Whenever she made minestrone soup for me as a kid, shed pour it into a Campbells soup cup. Which I have & still use. She would always have a fridge that beeped at you when the door was left open, & even now, I have a habit of leaving fridge doors open for too long. Her fridge was always beeping at me. Her & I used to always watch Days of Our Lives & Grace under fire together. During the summers at the house in Chino, wed spend our days in the pool, & I still remember her playing Boyz 2 Men. She would have a red gumball machine in the house that took pennies, & I knew where to find my grandpas little black rubber coin holder, so I could get a candy with one of his pennies. She often kept peanut m&ms in it. She taught me prayers as a child that I still remember. We would say them every night. She would often fall asleep watching QVC in bed, & Ive used it to fall asleep to many times ever since. When I had a hard time swallowing pills, she would hide them in tapioca pudding, which I referred to as fish egg pudding. Every summer, she would load the house up with all of my favorites - root beer float popsicles, lox salmon, Yoo-Hoos, & pimento stuffed olives. Theres so many things about her that I will miss. My heart hurts from losing her, but it also rejoices that her & my grandpa are together again.
