Mrs. Carole Elaine Bailey Fuller, age 69, of LaGrange, died on April 5, 2014, at the Hospice LaGrange after a lengthy illness. She fought this battle with courage until the very end.
Mrs. Fuller was born on October 11, 1944, in LaGrange to the late James Clay Bailey, Sr. and Willie Beth Robertson Bailey. She worked for many years as a telephone operator with Southern Bell as well as caring for the needs of her family.
Mrs. Fuller is survived by her husband of 52 years, Jimmy Lawrence Fuller of LaGrange; son, Jeff Fuller and his wife Kim of LaGrange; daughters, Lisa Suzanne Owens of Gainesville and Jill Littlefield of LaGrange; brothers, Clay Bailey of Clemson, S.C., Bob Bailey of LaGrange and Charles Bailey and his wife Pat of LaGrange; sisters, Beth Shular of LaGrange and Patricia Evans Woodbury and her husband Harold of Woodbury; grandchildren, Brandon Owens, Brett Fuller and his wife Abbey, Justen Fuller and his wife Courtney, Allyson Fuller and Cole Littlefield; 5 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at 1:00 pm at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel with Rev. Lynn Martin officiating. Interment will follow at the Meadoway Gardens. Family will receive friends on Monday evening at the funeral home from 6-8 pm.
