Carole Jean Gaas (Arseneau)Cedar Park, TXJune 9, 1934 - June 28, 2017Carole Jean Gaas was born on June 9, 1934 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Edmund Arseneau and Pauline (Boor) Arseneau. She passed away into her new life on June 28, 2017 at the age of 83. She died peacefully with the love of her life Ernie Gaas, her daughter Tami Klein, son in law Loren Klein and beloved grandchildren Nolan and Elizabeth Klein.Carole was preceded in death by her parents, Edmund and Pauline Arseneau; brothers, Edward, Donald, Gerry, and Tom; and sister, Shirley. She is survived by her husband, Ernest Richard Gaas; daughter, Tami Klein and son in law Loren Klein; grandson, Nolan Ernest Klein; granddaughter, Elizabeth Victoria Klein; sisters, Janice Post and Sharon Tellers; as well as, numerous nieces and nephews. Carole graduated from Tech High School in St. Cloud, Minnesota.She married Ernie Gaas and they were married and in love for 64 years. She worked at Honeywell in Minneapolis while Ernie served in the Korean War. They built their home in Minnetonka, Minnesota. They had one daughter, Tami and Carole loved being a mother. She later worked for Hennepin County Correctional Facility where she made many friends. When Carole and Ernie got older they moved to Cedar Park, Texas to be near their daughter and family. Carole was a very dedicated, loving wife, mother and grandmother. She adored her grandchildren, Nolan and Elizabeth. She loved her family and her many friends.Memorial services were held Sunday, July 2, 2017, at St. Richard's Episcopal Church, Round Rock, TX.
