Carole Marie Lombard Browand Howell, 84, passed from this life to eternity on June 21, 2020 in Cleveland, Tennessee. Carole was the fifth of five children born to Roy Edgar Lombard and Alice Mae Ellis Lombard of Plain City, Ohio. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 42 years, Bruce Browand; her husband of 3 years, James Howell, a daughter Shelley Browand, two sisters, Mildred Rausch and Patricia Heflin,and her brother Jack Lombard.
Carole attended Chuckery Darby High School. She went on to The Ohio State University and then St. Francis College for her Masters. Her career in education and guidance counseling spanned many years, in both public and private schools, in Indiana and then Florida, where she retired after more than a decade at American Heritage School. She was an expert seamstress and loved to entertain. Carole was a devoted member of Cokesbury UMC in Margate, Florida for 33 years. Volunteering and study were life-long passions. She lead prayer groups, Bible studies and participated in BSF and Stephen's Ministry. Carole valued family and will be remembered as a loving mother, grandma, aunt, sister and friend.
Carole is survived by: sister, Colleen Johnson, daughter, Renee (Jerry) Eidson, son David (Kelly) Browand, grandchildren, David and Luke Eidson, Crystal Roy, Corinne Bowers, Olivia Torres, Connor, Jack, and Riley Browand.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 27th with 5pm visitation and 6pm service at
The Journey Church, 3191 S Lee Hwy, McDonald, TN 37353.
