Harlingen, TX - Carolina Lozano, 89, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, November 2, 2016, in Edinburg Texas. She was born on September 23, 1927 in Harlingen, Texas to Francisco and Alfagracia Porras. Carolina is preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Lupe Porras, Frank Porras, and Sarah Porras.Left to cherish her memory are her son, Frank E. Lozano (Alicia Villarreal Lozano); 3 grandchildren, John Paul Ybarra, Erika Michelle Lozano Salazar (Carlos Salazar), and Amanda Nicole Lozano; 1 great grandchild, Noah Jacob Hinojosa; and numerous nephews and nieces.Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2016, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a prayer of the Holy Rosary at 7 p.m.Funeral mass will be held on Friday, November 4, 2016, at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
