Caroline Loretta StoutPigeon Forge, TNCaroline Loretta Stout, 86, of Pigeon Forge, passed away peacefully on Thursday June 8, 2017. Caroline was born on February 2, 1931 in Louellen, Kentucky to Fred Walter Stout, Sr. and Adelia Darwin Stout. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in microbiology from the University of Tennessee. She was a missionary for many years with Gospel Recordings. She was a microbiologist at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. She was predeceased by her parents and by her brothers Darwin Caswell Stout, Fred Walter Stout, Jr. and Richard Darius Stout and sister Kathleen Stout Simmons, sisters-in-law Edith Stout Kiser (Darwin), Mary Prater Stout (Fred Jr.), and Barbara Moore, brother-in-law Robert Simmons (Kathleen).She is survived by nieces and nephews Fred Walter Stout, III (Vickie) of Oak Ridge, Paula Blair Stout of Knoxville, Karen Ann Fox of Nashville, David Darwin Stout (Wendy) of Maple Valley, Washington, Dary Stone (Lindy) of Dallas, Texas, Kathy Wilson (Bruce) of Kissimmee, Florida, Dana Wood of Orlando, Florida, and great nieces and nephews Stephanie Fox of Seattle, Washington, Thomas Fox (Marissa) of Denver, Colorado, Allison and Emily Wilson of Kissimmee, Florida, Frederick ("Tripp") (Sally) Holt of Fishers, Indiana, Jonathan and Wesley Wood of Orlando, Florida, and Samuel and Sydney Stout of Maple Valley, Washington, Elodie Ann Holt of Fishers, Indiana, and sister-in-law, Barbara Stone of Dallas, Texas. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 11, 2017 in the chapel of First Baptist Church, 317 Parkway, Sevierville. Funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Richard Wallace officiating. Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, June 12, 2017 at Pierce Cemetery, Evensville, Tennessee.
