Carolyn Bonner Jett, of Waukegan, Illinois, passed away on May 10, 2024, at the age of 77. She was born on October 16, 1946, to Katherine Bonner.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband Charles (Hambone) Jett, her two children, Tracey Penny Harden and Tyrone Prater Jr., her mother Katherine Bonner, and her brother Ahmad Nuruddin formally known as David Bonner. She is survived by 16 grandchildren, great grandchildren, great, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Carolyn worked at AT&T Corporation where she retired in May of 1992. Carol dedicated her free time to helping others through the Love In The Name of Christ organization. She had a passion for volunteering and making a positive impact in her community.

Carolyn will be remembered for her kind heart, selflessness, and unwavering devotion to her family. She leaves behind a legacy of love and service that will never be forgotten.

Though your smile is gone forever, and your hand I cannot touch, I still have many memories of the one I love so much.

Dear Carolyn, your memory is my keepsake with which I will never part. God has you in his keeping. I have you in my heart.

Sadly missed never forgotten.
