Carolyn Bell Cooper TRENTON - Carolyn Bell Cooper, 72, beloved daughter of Caretha Bell and the late Solomon Bell, was born on February 5, 1944 in West Palm Beach, FL. She was called home to be with the Lord on November 17, 2016 at Capital Health Regional Medical Center. Carolyn graduated from Keller High School in MacClenny, Florida and attended Trenton High Night School for additional science classes. She graduated from Mercer Medical Center with Honors. Carolyn retired from the Trenton Psychiatric Hospital after 40 years of service. Carolyn received Christ at an early age and joined Shiloh Baptist Church. She exemplified service and was active as a former Sunday School teacher and served in the following ministries: Trustee Aide, Hospitality and the former Ladies Guild. Carolyn and her late husband were partners in many business enterprises. Her community activities included supporting girls’ softball, skiing, Girl Scouts, and monetarily supporting summer camp back pack giveaways and the Capital City Van Club. She had a special love for children and supporting youth. She is predeceased by her husband Ronald Douglas Cooper, Sr., father Solomon Bell, half-brother Richard Williams, Carolyn is survived by her son, R. Douglas(Kiana) Cooper Jr, two grandsons Keon Damani and Savion Douglass, mother, Caretha Bell, adopted son Tommy Williams; sister-in-law, Lorraine Cooper, two half-sisters, Stephanie Bell, Kenyetta Walter, three half-brothers, Nykrum, Manjaro and Jermaine Bell, five nieces, one nephew and two great nephews, and nine godchildren (Latonya, Jimmy, Heather, Jamal, Tanya, Corey, Ateba, Cleophus, III, and Nattlie) and a hosts of family and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday (Nov. 27th) at Shiloh Baptist Church 340 Rev. S. Howard Woodson, Jr. Way, Trenton, NJ. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am Monday (Nov. 28th) and calling hours will be from 9am until the time of services at the church. Interment Ewing Cemetery. Arrangements are by Hughes Funeral Home.
