We are saddened to announce the passing of Carolyn Hughel, born on July 9, 1945, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Carolyn loving wife of Leland Hughel since 1992, was a devoted mother to Richard Burris (Tammy), Debbie Barnes (Timothy) and Brian Burris (Kristin). Carolyn was also a loving sister to Steve Hodgen. Carolyn was a loving mother, wife, sister and grandmother.

Carolyn, a graduate of Morristown Jr/Sr High School, had a zest for life. She adored spending time with her family, especially her 10 beloved grandchildren Brianna Leeper (Adam), Emily Burris, Luke Burris (Halie), Minta Wheeler(Anthony), Timothy Barnes, Jayden Burris, Jayla Leeper, Caden Burris, Ava Burris and Rosey Leeper. Carolyn's hobbies included relaxing on the beach , playing bingo, solving word searches, watching tv, attending car shows and camping.

She was preceded in death by her brother (12 week old)Johnny Arvey Hodgen , father James Hodgen, mother Minta Hodgen (Cherry) and husband Leland Hughel.Carolyn will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
