Carolyn Porter, age 73, of Riverdale, Georgia passed away on May 24, 2024. She was born on December 19, 1950 to the late Margarett Phinazee.
Carolyn married the love of her life, Richard Porter, in the year 20, and they were blessed with two children: Stacey Phinazee and Latana Porter. She adored her family and was a proud grandmother to six grandchildren.
She attended Washington High School and later pursued her studies at the University of Phoenix. Carolyn dedicated many years of her life to working at the CDC, where she made a lasting impact.
In her free time, Carolyn enjoyed hobbies such as drawing, coloring, reading books, watching movies, and listening to jazz music. She had a zest for life that was contagious and brought joy to all those around her.
Carolyn will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Her memory will be cherished forever.
Rest in peace, Carolyn. You will always be in our hearts.
