Carrey Leslie Marconnette died September 24, 2016. He was born on April 23, 1939, in Hanston, Kansas. He was son of Edward William Marconnette and Clara I Fakes. His siblings include: Harold, Olen, Ellen, Paul, Pearl and Ray Marconnette. He attended Jetmore High where he played football and continued to play football while attending Dodge City Junior College.Carrey took part in many activities. He rode Bucking Broncs in the rodeo, where he was accepted to ride for the Professional Rodeo Association. He graduated from livestock auctioneer school, hunted, fished, worked as a welder and farmed.Carrey moved to California to attend acting school but his carrier path changed along the way and began studying real estate. He became a top real estate broker and entrepreneur of Old West Realty. He became a licensed contractor, and built house, apartments and storage units.He is survived by his wife Sondra Davis, son Vincent Marconnette, daughter Michelle Marconnette Bender and her husband Kevin Bender. He is survived by his 5 grandchildren; Cameron, Bradley, Melody, Bailey, Lauren.He was proceeded in death by his parents, grandchild Caitlin Bender, and his brothers, Harold, Paul, Pearl, Olen and Ray. Carrey will be buried in Bakersfield, California with a private funeral for his immediate family.
