Carrie Kay MillerMESA, AZ: Carrie Kay Miller passed away at her home in Mesa, Arizona on May 18th, 2017 at the young age of 41. Carrie was born on June 24, 1975 to Robert and Kay (Van Doren) Miller at Fremont Memorial Hospital, Fremont, Ohio.In January of 1993 Carrie was a passenger in a vehicle that was hit by a train, which left her a partial quadriplegic. Carrie spent 24 years in a wheelchair cared for lovingly by her Mom and Dad. Even with this disability Carrie was a strong, kind, loving woman who could light up a room with her beautiful smile.Carrie graduated from Clyde High School and is loved by her many classmates and friends. Carrie loved her Cleveland Indians and Ohio State Buckeyes.Carrie is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Robert and Luella Miller and maternal grandparents, Elver and Agnes Van Doren.Carrie is survived by two brothers: Ryan (Kim) Miller of Greenwood, Arkansas and Randy (Ann) Miller of Clyde, Ohio. A sister Jessie (Brett) Wott of Clyde, Ohio.Carrie loved her nieces and nephews Blake Miller, Ben Wott, Troy Miller, Savannah Miller, and Macy Wott. Also leaving behind is her Aunt Gloria Miller Carrill (Dave) who lives in Michigan and her Uncle Wayne Van Doren who lives in Clyde, Ohio, both very dear to Carrie, also survived by her precious god-daughter Haley Lozier, who she thought of as close as a daughter and her god-mother Ruth Nobles, who she thought of as a grandmother. The love between them was unconditional.Carrie loved and cared for her precious love bird Kiwi, who you could always find sitting on Carrie's shoulder.Services will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Vine Street in Clyde, Ohio at 10:30 A.M. May 31st. The family will be at the church at 9:30 A.M. to greet family and friends. The service will be followed by a luncheon provided by the ladies of the church.Services in Arizona will be on June 12th at Fountain of the Sun on Broadway Rd. Mesa, Arizona at 1 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family in care of Robert Miller 962 South 78 Place, Mesa, AZ 85208 and will be donated to a charity in Carrie's name.To leave online condolences please visit
