Carrie Burns, 61, of Valdosta, Georgia, passed Saturday, December 28, 2019. Carrie was born to Johnnie Jamal Burns, and Glenda Mae Burns (Richards), January 04, 1958 in Valdosta, Georgia.
Carrie graduated from Valdosta High in 1976 and received a degree from Valdosta State University in 1982. Carrie worked at Lowndes County School District until she retired in 2002.
Carrie is survived by 7 children: Regina Lashawne Murray (Jaron Murray), Rashea Denise Lewis, Reginald Lee Burns (Kimberly Burns), Richard Garret Burns, Ronnie LaDon Burns, Ricardo Mike Burns, and Rashawne Lanea Burns. She also is survived by 12 grandchildren.
Funeral Services to honor her precious life will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2020 at 2:00 PM from The Ralph Harrington Memorial Chapel - burial will follow immediately in The Pallbearers Cemetery.
Final rites are entrusted in the hands of the loving professionals of Harrington Funeral Home Inc.
