Catherine Biggs JohnsonRidgelandCatherine Biggs Johnson, 92, died Sunday, October 15, 2017. A service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Sebrell Funeral Home in Ridgeland. A private entombment service will take place at Lakewood Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Johnson was born on March 26, 1925, in Richland, the daughter of the late Miller Biggs and Lollie Neely. She was a dedicated military wife for 31 years, caring for her family during numerous deployments throughout her husband's career. Mrs. Johnson lived throughout the United States and the world including Germany and Japan. She will be remembered for her elegance and grace. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Laura Peacock. Survivors include her husband of 71 years, Col. K.D. Johnson, USAF Ret. of Ridgeland; son, Larry Johnson of Cordova, TN; nephew, Steve Peacock (Charlotte) of Warner Robbins, GA and their children, Sarah Collins (Eric) and John Peacock along with many other loving family members.
