ALBION — Catherine A. Seymoure, 73, of Albion died on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2016 ,at her home on Skinner Lake. She was born on Aug. 11, 1942, in Kendallville to the late Fred and Mildred (Shroyer) Seymoure. She was a graduate of Manchester College and received her master's degree from Indiana University. She served as the Noble County Extension Director for many years, retiring in 1999. On Aug. 11, 2013, she married Anne Rowland in Washington, D.C. She was active in the community, belonging to the Albion Rotary, Noble County Community Foundation, was a founding member of the Noble County Visitors and Convention Bureau, and member of the Epson Sigma Phi Fraternity. She was very much at home on the lake. She is survived by her wife, Anne Rowland; a brother, David (Carol) Seymoure of Peru; and a sister, Diana Leffel of Albion. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Larry Leffel. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, at Plymouth Congregational Church, 501 W. Berry St., Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, 2016, at Harper Funeral Homes, Albion Chapel, 771 Trail Ridge Road, Albion. Burial will be at Wolf Lake Cemetery.
