Swenson, CatherineCatherine Anne (Meehan) Swenson of Sheboygan, WI passed away on Wednesday April 12th at Froedtert Hospital, Milwaukee, WI after a long battle with leukemia. Catherine was born on January 19, 1951 in Frankfort, Germany. She is the daughter of Colonel Patrick Meehan and Anna Mary (Ryan) Meehan. Catherine was married to Thomas Swenson on October 14, 2000 in Long Grove, IL. Catherine graduated from Red Bank High School, Red Bank, NJ. In addition, she graduated from Michigan State University with graduate degrees in Mathematics and Statistics. She worked as a statistician in corporate finance with AT&T for over 20 years. Cathy also taught mathematics at Roosevelt University in Schaumburg, IL and at College of Lake County in Grayslake, IL. Catherine and Thomas resided in Buffalo Grove, Il until 2015, at which time they moved to Sheboygan, WI.Cathy is survived by her husband, Thomas, stepdaughters Sonja Swenson of Washington, DC and Grethe (Swenson) Isken of Sheboygan, WI; Grandchildren Meghan McArdle, Allison Isken, and Max Isken; And, her brother Richard Meehan of Rockville, MD.A memorial service for Cathy will be scheduled for sometime this summer, TBA.
