TOPEKA — Cathy C. Eash, 63, of Topeka, Indiana, died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2015, at her home. Mrs. Eash was born on April 2, 1952, in Beloit, Wisconsin, to Joseph and Erma (Cooper) Frye. They preceded her in death. In 1965, she moved from Wisconsin to LaGrange County. Cathy worked for the Westview School Corporation for 37 years as a librarian and in data management. She was a member of the Topeka Mennonite Church in Topeka, Indiana. On April 30, 1971, in Shipshewana, Indiana, she married Thomas A. Eash. He survives in Topeka. Also surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Mike Leader of Deshler, Ohio, and Laura and John Wilson of Elkhart, Indiana; eight grandchildren, Madison Leader (16), Caleb Wilson (16), Seth Leader (15), Magdalene Wilson (13), Selia Leader (12), Marissa Leader (11), Anna Wilson (10), and Matthew Leader (4); and three brothers and two sisters-in-law, William and Joyce Frye of Salem, Oregon, James Frye of Salem, Oregon, and Joseph and Dianne Frye of Salem, Oregon. Services will take place on Monday, Oct., 5, 2015, at 10 a.m. at Frurip-May Funeral Home, 309 W. Michigan St., LaGrange, Indiana, with the Rev. David W. Knight officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Grove Cemetery in rural Middlebury, Indiana. Visitation will take place on Sunday, Oct. 4, 2015, from 2-6 p.m. at the funeral home and on Monday, Oct. 5, 2015, an hour prior to the services.
