Cathy Lieurance 55, was called by our Lord on Friday, September 1, 2017 after a brief illness. She was born on May 12, 1962 in El Paso, Texas. She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Lieurance. Survived by her father Patrick Lieurance, sisters Karen Mathis (Dennis), Pam Barron (Ray), brother Patrick Jr., and several nieces and a nephew. Her dogs Grissom and Sadie are the love of her life. A graduate of Eastwood High 1980 and UTEP 1997. Cathy was a dedicated teacher that worked to prepare our children for the future. Cathy was always willing to help her colleagues. She spent most of her 20 years teaching at Valley View and Mission Valley. Cathy enjoyed visiting her Dad and friends in other parts of Texas. She enjoyed crafting, creating stain glass art and working in her backyard.
