It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Cecil Pollard, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on July 21, 2024. Born on January 2, 1948, in Belize City, Belize, Cecil was the cherished son of Samuel Pollard and Marina Pollard. He grew up in Belize for 25 years before migrating to the United States in 1973.

Cecil was known for his hard work as a Construction Worker, a career he enjoyed until his retirement in 2013. , renowned for his expertise and dedication. His work ethic was matched only by his passion for fixing things, earning him the affectionate nickname “The Fixer” among family and friends. Whether it was mending a broken fence or repairing a leaky faucet, Cecil’s skills and love for helping others were evident in every project he undertook. He retired in 2013 but continued to be a cornerstone of his family’s life, always ready with a tool and a smile. Cecil’s life was characterized by resilience, love, and an unwavering commitment to his family. In his free time, he could often be found playing Cricket, a passion he shared with friends and family.

Cecil is survived by his devoted wife Lucielle and their children: David (Kristina), Emily (Jermaine), Michael (Kiara), Sarah (Everol), Joshua (Denisse), and Rachel (Jean). He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren. Carlos Blyden, Jessica Gill, Liam Pollard ,Sophia Pollard ,Ethan williams, Olivia Martinez, Noah Pollard, Isabella Smith, Shenel Gill-Guerrier, Mason Clark, Ava Johnson,, Lucas Walker, Grace Brown, Jack Thompson, Ella Lee. As well as his many nieces and nephews.

Cecil touched the lives of all who knew him with his kindness, humor, and infectious smile. He will be forever remembered for his love of family, dedication to his work, and his competitive spirit on the cricket field.

On July 21, 2024, Cecil lost his battle with Cancer, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
