Cecilia (Aleksinas) Forget, 63 of Waterbury, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on April 29th, 2019 at St. Mary’s Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Leo J. Forget for 31 years.
Cecilia was born in Waterbury, CT on October 13, 1954 daughter of Hedwig (Lubinski) Aleksinas and the late Bronis A. Aleksinas, Sr. She was a graduate of Kennedy High School and worked as a paraprofessional for several schools including Rotella School and Maloney School. She also served as a caregiver for many people in the Waterbury area. Cecilia was a hard worker and enjoyed caring for her family and friends. She had a lot of fun connecting with people on Facebook.
Cecilia is survived by one son, Joseph Forget of Waterbury, one daughter, Jennifer Forget of Waterbury, two brothers, Bronis A. Aleksinas, Jr. of Bradenton, FL, Edward Aleksinas of Southington, three sisters, Theresa Carr and her husband, Michael of Torrington, Carol Lakites of Waterbury, Sandra Houlihan and her husband, Robert of North Port, FL and many nieces and nephews.

God promises that very soon he will wipe away all causes of pain and suffering, even death. We can be sure these promises will come true because they come from God himself, who cannot lie.
